Model 208, 408 and 508A Ball Check Valves in a size range from 1” thru 14” for water and wastewater are a simple and reliable valve with the only moving part to block the reverse flow, is a spherical ball. The full-ported valve seat is uniquely designed allowing the ball to seat leak-tight without getting wedge into the valve seat. For vacuum or anti-flooding valve application a “floating” rather than “sinking” ball is used. Due to its simple flow efficient and virtually maintenance free design the valve is commonly specified and used in submersible wastewater lift stations.

1. Turn off power supply to your pump.
2. Open faucet to drain water from tank.
3. Drain water from tank by opening drain plug on bottom side of pump housing.
4. Before using the pump again, replace drain plugs and manually re-prime the pump.
